Lea Stein & Pavone
Lea Stein, born in Paris in 1931, began making whimsical pieces of jewellery in the late 1960s. The often-diverse textures and colours are achieved by means of a process of laminating layers of Rhodoid (cellulose acetate sheets), invented by her husband Fernand. Lea Stein became popular in the late 1980s and she has created many new pieces since that time. Two Fox brooches, one cerise pink marbled with yellow eyes and the other thin stripes of silver and black with white eyes. Both very eye catching. The silver and black one is slightly see through to give a very unusual effect.

Unusual mosaic effect waistcoat on a hanger. Lovely layering on the hanger and pretty pearly shades on the waistcoat. Measures approximately 4.5cms tall.
