Christmas Tree Brooches
Christmas Tree brooches came into vogue around the 1950s although some very fine examples were manufactured prior to this. Many of the well known names in the jewellery world have produced these brooches such as Weiss, Hagler, Carnegie, Hollycraft and Coro to name but a few. Today there are many fine quality trees being produced as one off pieces that are likely to become the collectables of the future. Very unusual vintage Christmas tree by BUTLER & WILSON. Shaped like a tree but with the face of a Santa he has a wonderful handle bar moustache which has slight scuffing. Signed. Difficult to find and definitely one to keep! Size is approximately 5.5cms tall by 3cms wide.

Fabulous signed WEISS stylised Christmas Tree. Fantastic 1950s design which is illustrated in many of the Christmas Tree books it features deep sapphire blue and clear diamante 'balls' on a gold tone background with that marvellous frill bottom edge to give additional interest.  Size 6.2cms tall by 4.5cms wide.

My favourite AVON Xmas tree. Avon America issues a limited edition tree every year and this one, is I believe from the 1990s. The tree which is done in gold tone and green enamel has white enamel 'snow' along all the branches and has red beads as 'baubles' which are flexible and dangle loosely when worn. Such an attractive design and not an easy one to get. Size 6cms tall by 3.7cms at it's widest...

WOW! This one is really sparkly. Pretty colours on a silver tone background there are swags done in dark green diamante and larger diamante stones in lime green, sapphire blue and cerise pink to depict the 'balls'. Large aurora borealis stone at the top for the star. Wouldn't lie flat on the scanner hence the picture looks a bit lopsided. Lovely tree with gorgeous vibrant colours.
